Amazon revealed it's New Fire Phone

Amazon's new Fire Phone is less a phone than it is a killer app which will more completely tether shoppers to the retail site. Fire Phone's killer app is something called Firefly, which uses the phone's microphone and camera to recognize any real-world object/product which can identify printed web & email addresses, QR and bar codes, artwork, phone numbers, songs, movies, TV shows and products. Fire does not pack any heavy punches when it comes to hardware. The screen is a 4.7 inch IPS display with a 1280 x 720 pixel (315ppi) HD resolution and powered by Qualcomm 800 2.2GHz processor, 2GB of Ram and a 2400mAh battery pack. It includes a 13MP front facing camera, as well as 4 infrared depth imaging cameras located in the four corners of the phone. Fire phone got unique and innovative capability which is its Dynamic Perspective technology. Another unique element of the Fire phone is 'Mayday' service. This feature enables users of the phone to have access to technical support 24/7 365 days. The Amazon Fire will initially be offered in 2 models, one with 32GB of storage and other with a larger 64GB.

Though Fire offers pretty good features and specs, there is no consumer who actually needs the Fire, and indeed several areas where Amazon completely has dropped the ball with this device. Here are very good reasons for not buying the Fire.

1. No Bluetooth LE
Fire has an excess of cameras. It features one rather glaring omission: Bluetooth LE. This low energy bluetooth capability is the wireless connection of choice for most of the devices. Fire phones lacks the Bluetooth LE feature which is sad and disappointing.
2. No Play services
Fire phone runs a fork of the firmware which is called FireOS. The main problem with its new operating system is that it lacks the Google Play Store present on other devices. It does not have access to any of the Google services integrated into Android, and available on most smartphones. This includes popular programs like Google Now, GMail, Chrome, Google Search.
3. Lacklustre Specs
Fire is intended to be a premium phone, especially when you consider its price point. Comparing with the prize that the phone is noticeably less powerful than many of the top of the line flagship phones like Samsung, Sony, HTC and LG phones.
4. Annoying Tilt Controls
Amazon introduced Fire with an ability to tilt the phone to control the menus where Amazon in their new idea they completely removed the 'Home' and 'Menu' buttons which are replaced by tilts. This kind of control is annoying to use.
